Bushu Authentic Indigo Dyeing

Bushu indigo dye, produced in Hanyu, Kazo, and Gyoda in Saitama Prefecture, is known for its deep blue color and traditional craftsmanship. Using time-honored dyeing methods, artisans create textiles called Bushu Sho-Aizome, cherished for their beauty and durability. These fabrics are used for a wide range of products such as handkerchiefs, tenugui towels, cushion covers, noren curtains, tablecloths, jackets, jeans, T-shirts, hakama, haori, and kendo uniforms — blending Japanese tradition with modern design.
